Quay Gallery opened its doors at No.3 Mill Street in the late 80's and it was here that owner Mike Barneby worked for several years prior to travelling the world. On his return to the island in 1995, Mike bought the Gallery and began to establish himself as a leading buyer and supplier of original art and high quality prints.
 
A keen amateur photographer, Mike's vision was to create a relaxed and inspiring space that brought together an outstanding range of work for art-loving islanders. He has built up a loyal client base and maintains strong links with the leading art houses and studios to ensure that the work remains current and highly collectable.

The Gallery expanded seven years ago with the opening of sister company The Edge at No.9 Mill Street. A dedicated framing outlet, The Edge has hundreds of contemporary and traditional mouldings in stock and the team are extremely efficient with an amazing eye for identifying the right frame. The Edge also provides a photographic restoration service.
 
Quay Gallery's ethos is simple: there is a perfect piece of art for every client and budget - from a limited edition unframed print to a bespoke commission – the Gallery’s job is to find it.
